Heat You Up!

The weather in Portland, Oregon has finally shifted from sunny Indian summer to cold, cloudy, windy autumn. Three out of five of my housemates already have the flu and I’m taking all precautions possible against it. Fever inducing ginger bath, vitamins and minerals of every kind, medicinal mushrooms, holy basil, grapefruit seed extract, and a heating pad on my chest. I’ve been taking it easy cuddling in bed with my new Mac Book Pro restocking my hard drive with the best music I’ve heard. It’s been a while since I’ve posted on Disco Workout and I’m glad to be back! Here’s an Italo disco track by Shirley Lites from 1983 called ” Heat You Up (Melt Down Mix)”. This song’s passionate melody, funky bass, understated beat, and hypnotic repetition are keeping me warm tonight.

Awesome song. For such a rad song it seems like record isn’t insanely expensive/rare either (http://www.discogs.com/Shirley-Lites-Heat-You-Up-Melt-You-Down/master/184192). I like that. Thanks for sharing this!
