PJ Pooterhoots LIVE

Craig Drake, aka PJ Pooterhoots, has been making some mindblowing techno for quite a few years now. I remember hearing him first on an Optimo mix a few years back. This guy doesn’t do minimal, but its not too maximal either. His microsamples will keep your ears busy. PJ Pooterhoots in on Safety Scissors’ (Scissors’s?) label, Proptronix. Mr. Drake has been kind enough to give us two tracks that are coming out on two seperate records that won’t be out for a while (!). Zombie pants sounds like the coolest robot living dead movie you have ever seen. Miami Swipe sounds like Crockett and Tubbs on speed.

On a side not, someone needs to keep a tally about how many times we reference “Crockett and Tubbs” on this blog.

You can only imagine how hyped I was to find out he was a local Bay Arean, (not aryan… sends the wrong message). We snatched him up for our MASSIVE party on the 16th. Mr. Pooterhoots will be playing LIVE with at least an 808 and 303, which is just something you don’t see enough of anymore. COME ON OUT.
