Suzanne Kraft

Suzanne Kraft is the moniker for the solo retro-electro project of Diego Herrera. I would compare Suzanne Kraft’s sound to early 80s New York electro in the spirit of legendary groups such as Peech Boys, Tom Tom Club, and Paul Hardcastle. Herrera lives in LA and DJs for the non-profit web radio collective Dublab . He says he’d like to start singing on his tracks which sounds like a great idea to me! These instrumentals are really nice, though. I like the 80s analog drum machine and synth sounds and cheerful-urban- funky attitude of his songs. Suzanne Kraft is signed to indie label Discoteque Records . He plans to release a 7” on SFV Acid in early 2010. Check out Discoteque Records for his DJ mixes.
