Voice Farm “Modern Things” 7″ vinyl rip
Voice Farm are a synth pop band and video collective from San Francisco who have been making music since 1980. This 7” titled Modern Things was released in 1981 on the 3 release label Optional Records. They were known in the early 1980s for their pop culture obsessed multimedia live performances and unique style of self described “techno folk”. Vocalist Charly Brown, sound designer Myke Reilly, and keyboardist Gary Miles were the members of this group at the time of this release.
Voice Farm are still making music today and put out a new album this year titled Super Nova Experts. The album is available for preview and free download as is most of their discography on the Voice Farm website.
