I Have Nothing To Do With A New Band Called “Luxury Living” But I Like Them And Here They Are
Sounding a bit like an “Electrobix”-era Scissor Sisters but with more grandiose (and better) production that’s more in tune with the Valerie crowd comes a new demo from mysterious London electropop trio Luxury Living.

Seems as though the gents in the group (who go by the thoroughly intriguing names Gumbo Stoop, Casey, Fred Gazebo) throw a party in London called Pearl Flash, which recently featured Synthpop legend Casco aka BWH. Clearly men of taste and distinction, with whom I may feel proud to share a Sobriquet de Disco.
Speaking of shows, thanks for everyone who came to Spaceland last Sunday, I had a blast playing with a full band again (for the first time in 3 years!) My next show will be at Silverlake Lounge next Wednesday, March 3, a great double bill I’m sharing with Bullet and Snowfox (a band I have been producing and co-writing with).
I’m also playing live at SXSW for the Banyan Branch party (RSVP here) and then I’ve got a French tour in early April. I’m so excited for these shows, and I hope to see some of you dear readers there!
