The Buffet Libre DJ’s from somewhere that speaks Spanish (according to their website) have released a compilation of 80’s covers. Although there are a million compilations of covers from this era, this one has a great DIY feel and good tracklist. The first two songs are at 320k, so DJs get ready.
This cover of Madonna’s “Physical Attraction” done by Purple Crush treads on the same ground as thier cover of Kate Bush’s “Running up that Hill”. They both have an breakbeat homo b-more kind of feel.

NRK - Couldn’t get ahead
Mr. Miyagi (yes the same one from the Karate Kid), churns out an ultra hyper 80’s soundtrack version of a Men Without Hats classic.

CSK OK makes a great dubby version of Marietta’s “Destination Unknown” from the Top Gun soundtrack.
