Legowelt has quite the reputation of churning out hits that sound dated the minute you put them on. This guy is nuts. Although he uses some computers and digital synthesizers, his sound is rooted in the analog world. “Disco Rout” is a little bit old now, BUT the remixes have just hit. The Freeform Five remix does not dissapoint. Vocals have been added, and to be honest, it sounds nothing like the original. It is still good. The Deetron remix was a great choice because Deetron’s own analog sequenced sound. Both of these remixes sound like updated classics. Also included in this post is the video for the original.
