HeartsRevolution

I’ve been pretty much obsessed with “C.Y.O.A.” by HeartsRevolution for a month and a half(ish?). It’s one of those songs that nearly obnoxious, but flagrantly amazing simultaneously. Fuzzy discontent and monotone-like rage being catchy is hard to come by. You combine the song with the video and you pretty much have artsy crack cocaine. I sat like a zombie and stared at the laser light accents for hours. Over and over. It’s posted below, you must check it out.
HeartsRevolution is comprised of two individuals, Ben and Lo and they currently reside in NYC. HeartsRevolution/HeartsChallenger kicks out the jams by selling records from an Ice Cream truck as well as sweets. That’s some pretty unique shit. Kitschy candy and dope electronica beats. ZOMGZ!
Their single “C.Y.O.A.” was released as a split single with Crystal Castles as a glow in the dark vinyl. I googled them and found out that supposedly you can grab this vinyl at the locations listed below even though it was only put out in Japan (source).
