Because the electro house jams are pumping on your summer stereo. Yes, most schools have or will start again within the next week. But, by no means does this end the string of epic party tunes blasting out yo windowz.
Don’t run away frantically like a bewildered animal when I say “electro-house.” I know some of you probably tingle with delight at the category, but many others cringe in agony.. Yes yes, some elctro-house is miserable and crunchier than toffee, but this shit is top level electronic joy. Electric Soulside just released their new EP on BugEyed records, “Little Fucker.” It contains crunchy punching drums (the non soul sucking kind). It’s fucking catchy, well made and gives anyone another excuse to say fucker over and over. None of this distorted 96kpbs crackling smoking plastic bullshit. It’s legit.
Then there’s Sebastien Leger, who just released “Talisman/Bambou” on Mistakes Music. The build up in “Talisman” is perhaps a little slow for those who are impatient, but the pay off is orgasm-tastic. Seriously, so don’t be a wanker and ditch out after a minute, listen to the whole goddam track. It’s playfully enjoyable.
