Discorockets: more brilliance from portugal
Discorockets is throwing me back to another space and time when I first heard Moulinex and Xinobi. It’s perfect french-touch inspired electro pop that will leave you fiending for more. This music is truly fit for electro workouts, if I could ever get myself to exercise beyond biking. The high tempo and upbeat melody of “Running to You” and “Highschool” thump my brain out of its skull. Let’s just say it’s 90 degrees where I am in California, and this music is making me want to run through sprinklers on my lawn while pina coladas pump into me through an IV.
Discorockets is from Portugal, like Moulinex and Xinobi, and is playing with Xinobi on September 18th in Coimbra. If you live around there I would highly suggest checking it out, since they are both tremendously enjoyable artists. Also, look out for new remixes of Moulinex, Treasure Fingers and Chromeo on his myspace.
