because it’s 82 degrees in november
glamorous!
I stepped outside of my friend Ashley’s apartment this afternoon after a night of partying at the Loose Shus show and was greeted with ultraviolet rays of death. Oh my god, what the fuck? California is burning a magnified hole in my rib cage with its eternal heat. How am I supposed to transition into morbid autumn folk music if it’s 112 in December?
Yeah right, I can’t stop listening to bouncy dance jams so it doesn’t matter anyway. Discorockets and Christov have made some funky ass tunes that are shoulder shuffling worthy. It’s time to get out those Florida-ready palm tree leisure suits, sip a pina colada and drift across the dance floor.
Up first is Discorocket’s remix of Kool and the Gang’s “Be My Lady.” Always churning out some disco house classics this song is a french touch inspired remix of that already feel good booty shaker. I doubt you’ll be able to keep your hands down.

Then we have Christov’s “Estella’s Invitation” which is more upbeat than his last track “Night Skies.” It’s like a ballroom in 1979 space with it’s smooth rhythm and swanky flare. This track requires high waisted flares and hand claps in order to truly delve into it’s laid back luxury.
