PALM AND EIGHTIES VACATIONS

On a beach somewhere off the coast of France Palm must have felt inspired to write his bright homages to eighties tropical synth jams. A perfect soundtrack to girls crashing into sparkling waves, Palm inspires a chirpy happiness. The high-pitched synth in Valet Runner and Invisible Beach sound as magical as the twirling wind chimes in an island breeze. Palm’s identity remains tragically elusive, as the myspace states that they are from the Marshall Islands… I suppose we’ll have to go visit and tear up the palm tree dance floors.

  • who.. me? long time no chat kiyoshi.

  • “valet run” heavily samples Casino Social Club – “Larry’s theme”. I’m a little disappointed in Palms. Or maybe Palm = Casino Social Club?
