i saw this guy wallpaper in sacramento at the press club last year. he opened with an awesome autotuned out cover of big poppa with a synced up youtube clip of a girl lip syncing to the song. i had no idea who he was at the time, so needless to say i was not expecting to have my mind blown. fuck if it didn’t happen though. dude was wearing a cape. with $100s on it. and a silver jacket. yeah.
this shit is horrible, like some cali dbag shit. why post this???????

shit, i think you’re picks are pretty spot on, but i dled this and was like wtf? its like lmfao or something. and while lmfao is cool cuz obviously its aimed at the younger crowd, this one is bad. really bad. although at this time in history its kinda cool to be a dbag. so maybe im wrong.
I’m glad to hear that you like most of what I post. I try to post a variety of styles of dance music on here because I know we have readers with a variety of tastes. I like that bands/ artists submit tracks to us and I try to post songs up if I think there are people out there that would want to hear it. Wallpaper are still pretty underground and could use our support. I know we have readers who like them. Do a hypem.com search on that song and see how many hearts it got. Believe me, there is a lot of shit that doesn’t get posted because it’s just not good, sad to say. I’ve met the Wallpaper guys, they’re nice guys playing small, but fun parties and working hard to put on a good show. It’s definitely a more mainstream song and will probably appeal to an obnoxious crowd, too, but I try to keep an open mind about things. Please keep your faith in me, though! I promise to deliver some more good stuff soon:) And feel free to drop a nice comment when you hear something you like. This helps me get a feel for what is working for people:)
i think it’s great patricia! this track is just feel good and off beat from the regular thump thump filter house and washed out vintage synths regularly droned on dw (which i do love), keep on rockin don’t let the h8rs h8.

Go see these guys if you get the chance. I saw them open up at the RickShaw a couple years ago and I was hooked. They are really cool and easy going. I’ve since been to like 5 of their shows in SF and Oakland and it’s always a blast.
